چکیده
So far many studies have focused on the mechanical behavior of fibre reinforced soils and stabilized with conventional chemical stabilizers such as cement lime; however, very limited researches were conducted unconfined compressive strength characteristics peat soils. Fibre-reinforcement a soil resulted in significant improvement ductility weak or soft The main objective current study is considering effects content, length curing time (UCS) soil. finds that adding basalt causes remarkable increase UCS values value cement-stabilized sample observed significantly more than fibre-reinforced ones. However, fibers showed ductile compared to cement. results combined inclusions was caused by each them, individually.

Permeability Characteristics of Compacted and Stabilized Clay with Cement, Peat Ash and Silica Sand
The present paper investigates the influence of stabilization with cement, peat ash, and silica sand on permeability coefficient (kv) of compacted clay, using a novel approach to stabilize the clay with peat ash as a supplementary material of cement in the compacted and stabilized soil. In order to assess the mentioned influence, test specimens of both untreated and stabilized soil have been te...
متن کاملCompressive Strength Freeze and Thow Durability Correlation in Soil Cement Design (RESEARCH NOTE)
This paper explains the procedure and results of an experiment on the relationship between the unconfined compressive strength and percent weight loss due to freeze and thaw durability test of laboratory compacted soil-cement specimens. The tests were carried out on soil cement mixtures of 10 different soil types. It was shown that the percent weight loss due to freeze and thaw durability test ...
متن کاملregression model for predicting the compressive and tensile strength of reinforced soil and soil-cement
in this research the effect of randomly reinforced soil and soil cement with different percent of cement and fiber and different length of fiber was investigated. samples were prepared according to the maximum dry unit weight and optimum water content due to the corresponding compaction curves. compressive and tensile strength were conducted on samples for different curing times. regression equ...
متن کاملon the compressive strength and geo-environmental properties of mc-clay soil treated with recycled bassanite
the use of recycled bassanite, produced from gypsum wastes, in ground improvement projects is initiated recently in japan to eliminate the huge quantities of gypsum wastes. meanwhile the use of recycled bassanite has a positive effect on the environment and economy, it has many challenges. these challenges are related to the release of fluorine more than the standard limits results in contamina...
متن کاملThe Effect of Geopolymerization on the Unconfined Compressive Strength of Stabilized Fine-grained Soils
This study focuses on evaluating the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of improved fine-grained soils. A large database of unconfined compressive strength of clayey soil specimens stabilized with fly ash and blast furnace slag based geopolymer were collected and analyzed. Subsequently, using adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), a model has been developed to assess the UCS of stabi...
